Control4

Control4 On-screen displayControl4 combines a multi-room entertainment system with the ability to control additional features such as lighting and heating from a colour touch panels. It has been designed to provide a more cost-effective alternative to fully customisable solutions.  One of the strengths of the system is the built in music server which allows you to stream MP3 music around the home together with access to the Rhapsody music on-demand service.

Control4 remoteEase of use is central to the Control4 philosophy.  In rooms with TVs a press of a button on the remote control shows a menu on-screen.  This makes it really easy to choose what you'd like to watch or listen.  The remote control itself is a stylish backlit design that fits neatly in the hand and works just like your original remote with the all-important coloured buttons for accessing Sky interactive services.

Control4 touchscreenWhere wall control panels are more appropriate Control4 have a very neat 7" colour touch screen.  This is large enough to be easy to use yet not too intrusive on a wall.  As well as controlling all your entertainment needs it can control your lighting, heating and even show images from CCTV cameras.  Add to that up-to-date weather forecasts and the ability to act as a digital picture frame and you have a very convenient device to control the whole of your home.

Control4 iPad appControl is also possible from your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.  This removes the need for expensive wireless touchpanels.

Scalable from a one room home cinema to a thirty room mansion, or indeed a 4,300 room hotel in demanding Las Vegas, Control4 is one of the most exciting products available.

Linn

Linn Majik DS-I digital stream playerLinn are one of the foremost names in HiFi having operated from Glasgow over the past 30 years. They have quite rightly a reputation for producing some very high quality and expensive equipment.

But there's been some significant changes at Linn over the past few years.  Most dramatic of which has been their decision to discontinue the production of CD players.  Their contention is that by ripping a CD once with absolute accuracy once you no longer need to invest in the CD tray mechanism - a precision piece of mechanical engineering.  This means higher quality audio is now available at a lower price.  Thus was born the Linn DS (Digital Stream) range.

Products like the Sneaky, Majik and now the Sekrit allow you to have a high quality Linn music system throughout your home.  The Sekrit is designed to be installed in a ceiling void - ideal for a hidden installation.

All Linn DS players have free access to worldwide radio stations through the Internet - including the full range of BBC radio stations plus three very high quality radio stations from Linn itself.  You could think of the Linn DS range as a Sonos system for those who are serious about music.

The Linn players can be controlled from you iPhone or integrated seamlessly into a Control4 system.

If music quality is important we urge you to consider the Linn option.  We have this on demonstration.
