  • Fifth Anniversary
Beyond the Invisible celebrated its fifth anniversary this month.  Much has changed during this time with the initial team of three people growing to ten at the present time.  An anniversary is a fun time to look back on our growth and development but also an opportunity to look forward to make even larger strides forward over the next five years.

  • CEDIA USA
Jane and Simon visited the CEDIA show in Denver to get the inside track on new developments in the industry for the year ahead.  A number of new product launches from Crestron and Control4 will provide exciting new functionality for systems.  They were also able to see the next wave of plasma screens to be launched before Christmas which are getting thinner and connecting directly to the Internet.

July 2008

  • New Offices
Beyond the Invisible OfficeOn the 14th July we moved to our new offices in Wimbledon Park. Our new facility provides us with four times the space we had previously.

We now also have a dedicated rack building area which allows us to build and test up to four systems simultaneously. Building systems in our own facility rather on-site allows them to be fully tested before installing in a client's home. Not many companies are able to offer this facility. However it has massive benefits as a client can see the system in action before it is installed and allows us to check the system thoroughly.

June 2008

  • Home Cinema Marquee Wimbledon FairWimbledon Village Fair
We installed a full scale home cinema in a marquee at the fair.  This enabled us to demonstrate the benefits of the Kaleidescape DVD server and Control4 system to the estimated 15,000 people who attended this one day event.

Our portfolio of completed projects attracted a great deal of attention and we were busy throughout the day. Many thanks go to Bowers & Wilkins who kindly donated a Zeppelin iPod dock which was raffled in aid of the Wimblebdon Guild.

We'd also like to thank William Tse from Kaleidescape who supported us on the day.
